Dan Griffin, MA has been providing training and consulting on men's specific trauma treatment for over a decade nationally and internationally. He is the author of several books and treatment curricula on the topic including A Man's Way through the Twelve Steps and the Helping Men Recover curriculum. A former state drug court coordinator for Minnesota, Dan has worked in the addiction and recovery field for almost three decades. He has served as a SME faculty for numerous national organizations and provided countless trainings on a variety of topics. He did the first qualitative research looking at the social construction of masculinity in the culture of Alcoholics Anonymous while completing a masters degree in gender studies from the University of Kansas. Dan is married with a beautiful teenage daughter and has been in recovery since 1994.
