James Gamache is licensed in Maine and New Hampshire as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Masters Level Alcohol & Drug Counselor (MLADC), Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICAADC) and has been working in the field of Mental Health & Addiction Treatment since 1995. James has served in various roles throughout his career ranging from support staff, clinician, Quality Assurance, Clinical Director, Chief of Operations and currently as SVP of Clinical Services and QA. Thought these experiences James has become an expert in the treatment field with a primary focus on treating co-occurring disorders, deploying Evidenced Based Practices, developing multi-disciplinary teams, and creating effective systems of care. James has worked as a research clinician with Dartmouth in the development of Evidenced Base Treatment interventions and co-authored and published a White Paper Outcome Study in the National Journal of Mental Health and Addiction Treatment in 2020. James has presented nationally on the topics surrounding co-occurring disorders, incorporating recovery staff in the workforce, and addressing healthy and unhealthy treatment team dynamics and systems that support them. James is a current surveyor with The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and Executive Board Member as the Organizational Delegate with the National Association of Addiction Professionals (NAADAC).
