This presentation will highlight Yahoo’s efforts to eliminate CSAM from its services. This will include an overview of who the Yahoo E-Crime Investigations Team (ECIT) is and what we do. It will also discuss CyberTip reporting by Yahoo’s Trust and Safety Team, and how the E-Crimes Team further escalates Yahoo CyberTips when it has been determined that additional risk factors exist, such as hands-on abuse, registered sex offenders, and more. Two case studies resulting in successful arrests and the rescue of children will be discussed as well.
