This case study will detail the investigation conducted by the Brazilian ICSE Task Force of two cases connected by a brief comment on a Darkweb forum, resulting in the rescue of four rape victims and the apprehension of two offenders. The presenters will discuss the setup of a multidisciplinary investigation team, the importance of international cooperation through the INTERPOL ICSE database, and the significance of smartphone forensics which recovered smoking gun evidence from the Tor Browser. The presenters will discuss how Darkweb analysis was done with the help of in-house developed software (freely available to LE.) This software parses and links Darkweb exported information in a single dynamic table (including shared CSAM and forum messages). Lastly, they will explain the importance of the extensive database and OSINT analysis in the offender's identification, and the use of his collaboration in the solution of connected cases.
