Managing therapy waitlists in a CAC setting can be challenging and stressful. In this presentation, an experienced clinician will discuss how the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center has used the power of a group setting to further facilitate healing for a large number of families. Attendees will learn about the implementation of group programming in a CAC setting, specifically how to facilitate TF-CBT groups (other therapy modalities will be briefly highlighted), and special considerations for serving families in a group setting in the ever-changing dynamics and regulations surrounding the global pandemic.
