Anthony Lopez is a Chief Inspector (CI) of the International Megan's Law Enforcement Unit (IMLEU), an integral part of the U.S. Marshals Service's Sex Offender Investigations Branch which focuses on investigating sex offenders who travel to engage in child sex tourism. First assigned to the District of Puerto Rico, he served in various capacities including team leader for the Puerto Rico Violent Offender Task Force (PRVOTF) and team lead of the Detention Management Team. In December 2017, Anthony was promoted to Senior Inspector at the National Sex Offender Targeting Center (NSOTC), before accepting his current position in August 2020 as the IMLEU Chief. He has received multiple commendation letters from Supreme Court Justices, the Director of the USMS, and the Attorney General.
