Resident
Bryan Naelitz, MD, MS is a fifth-year Urology resident at the Cleveland Clinic Glickman Urological and Kidney Institute. He earned his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2016, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Anthropology. During his undergraduate studies, he developed an early interest in urology through anthropology coursework focused on reproductive health. He went on to attend the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine on a full-tuition scholarship. During medical school, he completed a dedicated research year in the Sharifi Laboratory, where he characterized expression of androgenic machinery across prostatic cell types using single-cell RNA sequencing. He also obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from Case Western Reserve University, during which he investigated hormonal predictors of pituitary pathology in men with symptoms of hypogonadism. After graduating from medical school in 2021, he continued his medical training at Cleveland Clinic as a Urology resident. During residency, he completed an additional research year under Dr. Scott Lundy, focusing on multi-institutional collaboration, outcomes in microsurgery, testosterone replacement therapy, and hormonal predictors of male infertility. After completion of residency in 2027, he will complete an Andrology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
