George E. Koch, MD, is an assistant professor of urology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center specializing in urologic trauma and reconstruction. Dr. Koch graduated from the Georgetown University School of Medicine before completing his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He went on to complete the urologic trauma and reconstruction fellowship under Dr. Hunter Wessells at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Koch’s clinical interests include treating adult-acquired buried penis, urethral stricture disease, devastated urinary outlets, and Fournier’s Gangrene. His research interests include outcomes following Fournier’s Gangrene and urologic trauma as well as the role of academic writing and scholarship in surgical education.
