Dr. Ruben Blachman Braun, MD, MSc, is a board-eligible urologist and current Urologic Oncology Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), as part of the Society of Urologic Oncology (SUO) program. He completed his urology residency at the Desai Sethi Urology Institute, University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and holds an MD, an MSc in Medical Sciences, and a Specialty in Research Methods in Health Sciences from AnĂ¡huac University in Mexico. Dr. Blachman Braun has conducted extensive research across a wide range of topics, including molecular biology, population genetics, surgical outcomes, and clinical epidemiology. His academic interests are centered on urologic oncology, with a strong focus on hereditary cancers, cancer survivorship, oncofertility preservation, and the advancement of innovative surgical and clinical interventions. He is also experienced in clinical trial design and implementation, applying advanced data analysis and medical statistics to improve patient outcomes. Clinically, he is skilled in robotic, laparoscopic, open, and focal therapies for the treatment of urologic diseases.
