Gopal Narang, MD

Assistant Professor

Gopal was born in Washington, DC and raised in the small suburb of Rockville, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland at College Park where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Biochemistry. After graduating, Gopal spent six months volunteering in South Sudan at an orphanage and rural hospital. This experience solidified his passion for medicine and his love for people. He attended the University of Maryland, School of Medicine where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. In his free time, Gopal enjoys spending time with his wife. They enjoy hiking, baking bread and cheering on the Maryland Terrapins. Gopi has specific interest in stone disease, minimally invasive treatments for BPH, and robotic surgery.
