Nityam Rathi is an incoming urology resident at the Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN), and recently graduated medical school from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. During medical school, he pursued a dedicated research year at the National Cancer Institute through the NIH Medical Research Scholars Program to investigate clinical and biological aspects of hereditary renal cancer syndromes under the mentorship of Dr. W. Marston Linehan. During medical school, Nityam also conducted research on the oncologic, functional, and survival outcomes of renal cancer surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Steven Campbell at the Cleveland Clinic. He hopes to pursue a career as an academic physician-investigator.
