Dr. Hossein Sadeghi-Nejad graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine where he was the recipient of the Goodwin Commencement Prize. He received his medical doctorate from the McGill University School of Medicine in Montreal, Canada and served as an Intern and Resident in General Surgery at the University of California in San Francisco. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad completed his urological residency and fellowship training in Male Reproductive Medicine and microsurgery at the Boston University Medical Center under the auspices of Drs. Robert Krane, Irwin Goldstein, and Robert Oates. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad is the Director of Men's Health and Professor of Urology and Obstetrics & Gynecology at NYU Langone Grossman School of Medicine in Manhattan, New York.
Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad has served on the global AUA task force and is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Urological Association (AUA), The Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), Society for Study of Male Reproduction (SSMR), and the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. A Past President of SMSNA, he is a founding member of the SMSNA Foundation and received the Distinguished Service Award in 2015. Dr. Sadeghi-Nejad is a co-author on the AUA Peyronie's Disease and Erectile Dysfunction Guidelines. Having served as of 16 members of the Examination Committee of the American Board of Urology (ABU), he is an oral boards examiner for the ABU. Currently serving as Section Secretary, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the NY Section of the AUA and will be the President Elect in April 2026 .
