Dr. Kit Yuen is a urologic oncology fellow at UC San Diego Health. She earned a BS from University of Michigan and her medical degree from Rush Medical College. She completed her urology residency training at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Her career aspirations are to become a leading expert in urologic oncology and to promote treatment advancements through translational research interests in bladder and renal cancer. She is particularly interested in molecular biomarkers, targeted molecular therapy and alteration of the urinary microbiome to prevent bladder cancer recurrence and progression. She is dedicated to advocating for healthcare equity and increasing access to urological care.
