James M. Hotaling, MD MS FECSM is an Assistant Professor of Surgery (Urology), co-director of the Center for Reconstructive Urology and Men’s Health and co-director of the Infertility Integrated Practice Unit at the University of Utah Medical Center. Dr. Hotaling received his medical degree at Duke and completed residency at the University of Washington, where he also completed an MS in epidemiology. He completed a fellowship in andrology at The University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a male infertility and men’s health specialist. He has over 80 publications. His research interests are the genetics and epigenetics of male infertility and erectile dysfunction, the impact of male infertility on population and familial health and microfluidic sperm sorting.
