Dr. Gregory A. Broderick M.D. is a Professor of Urology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He is a graduate of Harvard College and University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. He interned at Yale New Haven Hospital, and returned to UCSF for urologic residency. He completed fellowship in Neuro-Urology and Impotence at UC Davis.
He has been a member of Mayo Clinic Florida staff since 1998. His practice is focused on Men’s Health: Erectile Dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, Urethral Stricture Disease, Male Stress Incontinence, Male Cancer Survivorship and BPH. He established the Urology residency at Mayo Clinic Florida, serving as Program Director from 2000-2023. In recognition of his dedication to GME, he was honored by Jacksonville Business Magazine as an Innovator in Education and by Mayo Clinic Florida as Distinguished Educator of the Year, in 2016. In 2023 Dr. Broderick was elected to the Urology Residency Review Committee of the ACGME. Dr. Broderick has served as an Examiner for Urology Oral Boards since 2020 and was nominated by the Society of Academic Urology to serve as Trustee of the American Board of Urology in February 2023.
Dr. Broderick is the recipient of the 2023 Florida Urologic Society Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a founding member of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America and past President (2005). He has served the AUA on Clinical Guidelines for: Priapism, Erectile Dysfunction and Premature Ejaculation. He has served on the Sexual Health Function Council to AUA Foundation and Survivorship Committee to the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN, 2018-2021).
In May of 2024 Dr. Broderick received the Gold – Headed Cane Award from the AUA for his career dedication to Urology resident education. His Doximity Citation Report, November 2024 includes: H-index 40 (top 5%), 7778 citations (top 5%), 93 mentions (top 10%).
