Ben Rubinowitz is a nationally recognized plaintiff’s trial lawyer with expertise in medical malpractice. Ben has been named “Lawyer of the Year” six times by Best Lawyers.
Ben’s meticulous approach to the preparation and trial of a case has produced 29 verdicts and 200 settlements in excess of one million dollars in medical malpractice and general negligence cases.
Ben’s experience and legal acumen is also sought after outside of the courtroom. He has appeared as a legal expert on Court T.V. and he co-authors a regular column in the NY Law Journal on the subject of trial advocacy. Ben’s success as a trial lawyer and expert in his field has earned him national recognition as a trial advocacy teacher. Ben has lectured, chaired, and participated in seminars at Harvard, Emory, Fordham, and Cardozo law schools, as well as numerous continuing legal education programs. Ben serves as an adjunct professor of law where he teaches courses in advanced trial techniques. In recognition of his trial skills, Ben has been asked by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy to serve as a national team leader and has been the Chair of the Board of Trustees of NITA. Ben has been asked to lecture about Medical Malpractice by the Duke University School of Medicine and at the AUA multiple times. Ben has lectured on Medical Malpractice at Columbia University, Mt. Sinai Hospital, NYU, Winthrop Hospital and at the Judicia Institute. Ben is a past President of the New York City Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and is a member of the International Society of Barristers, The International Academy of Trial Lawyers and The American Trial Lawyers Association.
