Erika Johnson is a 4th year medical student at Oregon Health and Science University who began participating in emergency medicine research her first year. She is a graduate of Scripps College having received a Bachelors of Arts in neuroscience in 2018, but quickly returned to her home in the Pacific Northwest for medical school. During her time at OHSU, she has been involved in curriculum development for transgender care education, has been on the board for the OHSU Asylum Clinic and started a Peer Mentorship program and curriculum for early clinical learners as they face their first patient deaths and poor outcomes.
