Dr. Abhishek Sathe, PhD, is currently a Clinical Pharmacologist working in the Clinical Pharmacology department at Gilead Sciences, Inc. He is involved in the design and conduct of clinical pharmacology studies in oncology and inflammation therapeutic areas and the conduct of PK and PK/PD analyses. He has published original research papers in clinical pharmacology journals and presented his research at national pharmacology meetings. Dr. Sathe completed his masters in pharmaceutical sciences from Northeastern University. He then worked in the field of drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK) doing high throughput invitro ADME studies and PK analysis, most recently at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research. Dr. Sathe then earned his PhD in Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Minnesota.
