Husain Attarwala is serving as Head of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics at Moderna Therapeutics where he is involved in developing predictive kinetic and dynamic models to support clinical development of mRNA therapeutics and vaccines. Prior to joining Moderna, he served at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals where his efforts were focused on developing translational PK/PD models, population PK/PD models and disease progression models to support clinical development and regulatory approvals of small interference RNA based therapies. He has authored several book chapters, abstracts and research articles in the field of drug delivery, clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics. He has obtained PhD and MS degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Delivery Systems from Northeastern University, and a Bachelors in Pharmacy from Al-Ameen college of pharmacy.
