Angela M. Miller, PhD, MSPH, is the Deputy Director of Child Health and Injury Prevention at the Tennessee Department of Health, where she oversees statewide maternal and child health programs, including fetal, infant, and child mortality prevention, injury and suicide prevention, and home visiting initiatives. She earned her PhD in Epidemiology from Emory University and has over 15 years of experience in public health research, surveillance, and program leadership. Dr. Miller has directed population health surveillance systems, served as an adjunct professor of epidemiology, and published extensively on maternal, neonatal, and child health outcomes. Her work focuses on improving health outcomes for families across Tennessee.
