
The National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention (NCFRP) is the HRSA funded resource and data center that supports Child Death Review (CDR) and Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) programs across the country. National Center activities include: Technical Assistance - programmatic support to CDR and FIMR teams, as well as federally-funded Healthy Start programs, remotely and through in-person site visits. Training - training to fatality review teams to help improve implementation, processes, data collection, partnerships, and prevention recommendations. Shared Learning & Networking - ongoing workgroups focused on HEALTH DISPARITIES and DATA QUALITY, and periodic conference calls for fatality review coordinators. Moving Data to Action Develops strong partnerships to help translate CDR and FIMR findings into national program and policy recommendations to improve child health and safety.
