Stephen Zralek helps clients resolve intellectual property, entertainment and business disputes in state and federal courts in Tennessee and around the country. He is vice chair for programs for the IADC's IP Committee, previously chaired the ABA’s Copyright Litigation Committee, and served as a member of the Nashville Bar Association board of directors. He was born and raised in Nashville, where he has served on multiple non-profit boards. He obtained his B.A. from Xavier University in 1994 and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee in 1997, after which he served as a judicial clerk to the late Hon. Thomas A. Wiseman, Jr., of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. He regularly writes and is asked to speak on legal issues involving intellectual property, and two of his favorite areas of the law are copyright fair use and the right of publicity, both of which include many gray areas where the law is constantly evolving. Stephen was co-lead counsel for the student athlete plaintiffs in Marshall v. ESPN.
