Dr. Martin Petrasch is a German lawyer working for the Compliance Legal department of Siemens AG as a Senior Legal Counsel. In this position Dr. Petrasch is responsible for international internal investigations of Compliance cases, case handling and legal regulatory issues by providing an objective and efficient investigation of, and conclusion to, all reported allegations of Compliance-related misconduct (in Germany and worldwide). He is also specialized in the Middle East Region and Africa. Dr. Petrasch is the key contact for the Siemens compliance reporting hotline “Tell Us” and the external Siemens Ombudsman. He also deals with governmental authorities and other stakeholders. Dr. Petrasch started his career as a public prosecutor for white-collar crime in the State of Bavaria (Germany). After a secondment of three years to the German Federal Ministry of Justice in Berlin he worked as a Judge at the Regional Court of Nuremberg. Dr. Petrasch is speaker for Compliance lectures at the Beck academy, Munich. He mainly is focusing on Corporate Compliance matters and legal in-house topics.
