Louise Miller, is the Founder of the Mammography Practicum at the School of Medicine, University of California, San Diego where she developed and implemented the first mammography training course in the nation. SInce 1990 she has trained over 50,000 technologists worldwide. Louise has served on numerous committees for national professional societies including the American College of Radiology, the Society of Breast Imaging, the ASRT, the American Cancer Socitey and the FDA/MQSA to develop and update mammography education and skill-based training standards. She has also provided consultation and lecture for noted institutions such as Harvard Medical School, the Mayo Clinic, and Stanford Univerity and worked extensively with renowned breast imaging specialists. Due to her expertise and unique, innovative teaching style Louise is much sought after lecturer and consultant throughout the world.
