In a fluctuating medical imaging landscape, uncovering, evaluating, and presenting market opportunities to upper and middle level management can be a daunting task for a radiology administrator. This session covers a wide range of topics with the overall goal of providing a framework for administrators to capitalize on market opportunity. Often times leadership is not as close to these opportunities as administrators, or administrator's direct reports, so it is imperative that they are communicated effectively to the appropriate leadership. These opportunities are going to become much more crucial as we continue to see declining reimbursements from commercial and federal payors. Uncovering these opportunities may be somewhat foreign to newer administrators so this session may serve as an introduction for that group. Evaluating these opportunities may also seem daunting but is much easier than one may realize. This session will explore simple ways to forecast volumes, revenue, and tackle return on investments. Finally, the session will provide a framework for administrators to use to present all of this information directly to the appropriate leadership.
