Bridgeway Senior Healthcare
Donald Pelligrino is the owner and CEO of Bridgeway Senior Healthcare, a family of companies based in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Don has built the Bridgeway continuum of care since 1981, growing the organization to its current scope of two skilled nursing facilities, two assisted living residences, a home therapy company, and several projects currently under development.
Don has been instrumental in all aspects of Bridgeway’s growth, from site selection and permitting, to financing, marketing, and managing each building project from the ground up. Don is proud that Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center at Bridgewater has been named the #1 Nursing Home in New Jersey by Newsweek and that Bridgeway Senior Healthcare has been voted as a Top Workplace in New Jersey by the staff.
Don is not only involved in high level projects, but he also takes pride in being onsite at his locations daily. Bridgeway has grown throughout Don’s tenure to include not only his own children, but the next generation of many employees’ families as well! The family atmosphere at Bridgeway is fostered by Don’s daily presence in the buildings where he meets quarterly with many department heads and hosts regular All Staff Meetings to truly connect with as many staff as possible.
Beyond Bridgeway, Don was one of the founding members of New Jersey’s Care Associates Network, a Managed Care Contracting organization that now has over 40 members and was one of the first collaborative provider networks in the country. Don is also active in AHCA’s Independent Owners Council and the Health Care Association of New Jersey serving as an Executive Board Member.
Outside of work, Don enjoys playing golf and spending time at the Jersey shore with his two grandchildren.
