Maureen Cahill is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and has been CEO of Spurgeon Manor in Dallas Center, since October of 2008.
She has over 20 years’ experience in for profit, not for profit, stand alone and CCRC homes. In May of 2018 she completed a Master of Jurisprudence from Drake Law School. She is a certified Professional in Aging Services Risk Management, and received her MBA in 2000. Maureen has facilitated two major construction projects from fundraising through construction and operation. The first project was completed in 2014 consisting of a new addition with 32 private nursing rooms and in 2019 a new 40 unit assisted living facility. She received the Bronze and Silver Quality Awards from AHCA/NCAL and has applied for the Gold Quality Award. Maureen implements best practices and shares results of efforts with peers. She has been available to colleagues as a resource for regulation compliance and quality implementation. She has been a practicum supervisor for administration students. Lastly, she is involved in the Iowa Health Care Association and currently serves as President of the Iowa Health Care Quality Partner's.
