Crystal Bowens joined AHCA/NCAL after being with PruittHealth Consulting services as a Senior Nurse Consultant and as Vice President of Professional Services. She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings as a highly skilled executive nurse with more than 15 years of experience in the field and over a decade of leadership expertise in diverse settings, including hospital, post-acute and behavioral health. She is accomplished in building supportive and collaborative relationships, as well as spearheading quality care delivery initiatives with all members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nursing staff, therapists, and other allied health professionals. Crystal is an active council member of both her state and national healthcare associations. She is a RN board certified in gerontological nursing, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Certified Dementia Practitioner, has her Doctorate of Healthcare Administration and Master of Science in Nursing.
