Emily Buckles has worked in the Senior living arena for over eight years. Currently, she serves
as the Senior Director Quality and Health Services for Dial Senior Living. In her role Ms. Buckles
has developed and implemented a quality excellence program, to enhance the quality
achievement across the portfolio. Ms. Buckles has assisted in the writing and receiving a
Bronze and Silver Quality Award. Ms. Buckles is a passionate champion of quality and serves
as a Quality Award Examiner and Board Chair for the Iowa Health Care Association Quality
Committee. Ms. Buckles graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2008 with a bachelor’s
degree in Nursing and holds a master’s degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Leadership and
Management, along with being a board certified gerontological nurse.
