Tammy Q. Kelly PT, LNHA, RAC-CT, RAC-CTA is presently serving as Director of RAI & Clinical Reimbursement and the Senior Management team at CCR, Inc. with corporate oversight for the MDS/RAI process, clinical reimbursement processes/payment reform, ADR/Appeals process, Social Services Care Coordination, Central Managed Care Case Management, and liaison to contract therapy services. She has served on the AHCA Quality Award Board of Overseers since January 2017, currently serving as Chair. Tammy has been a Senior Examiner/Team Leader for the American Health Care Association Silver Quality Awards since 2007 as well as a Gold Award site visit examiner in 2017. She served on the 2015 Virginia Lt. Governor’s Roundtable on Quality, Payment Reform, and HIT and currently sits on the Virginia Emergency Department Care Coordination Clinical Consensus Group representing Long Term Care.
Tammy is licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator and a Physical Therapist. Her past experience includes serving as Director of Rehabilitation Services , then Vice President of Performance Initiatives at the largest long term care nursing facility in Virginia (from 1998-2006 with responsibility for Quality Improvement, JCAHO accreditation, Rehab, Skilled care coordination, MDS & RUGS management, HIM, Regulatory Compliance and Home Health. She has presented on a variety of topics at AHCA/NCAL and Virginia Health Care Association trainings and other conferences. Tammy is one of 4 co-authors of curriculum for AANAC’s Medicare University, now the foundation for AANAC’s RAC-CTA certification. She resides in Virginia with Tony, her husband, who also works in Long Term Care and holds an Admininstrator's license.
