This session will review the 7 elements of an effective Compliance program and will then focus on the CMS requirement that a facility provide Compliance and Ethics training to all facility staff on the standards, policies, and procedures of the Requirements of Participation (F946). The speaker shall review the components of a facility led training and how to devise the scope and standards of practice through curricula that includes: learning objectives, performance standards, and evaluation criteria with a process to track staff participation in training. The session will cover the fundamental components of Compliance and Ethics policies and procedures.
