In today’s workplace, there is a dire need for connection. Only 5% of workers strongly agree that their organization helps them develop stronger personal relationships. Employees want and need to build positive relationships at work. Positive relationships in the workplace lead to increased employee engagement, a more satisfied workforce, managers with less stress, employees who are better able to manage conflict, higher retention rates, and ultimately better organizational performance.
This presentation identifies areas of relationship “slip-ups” that lead to conflicts in the workplace and offers strategies to foster positive workplace relationships. You will be able to recognize four main categories of relation“slips” that lead to conflict in the workplace. In addition, you will learn ways to develop emotional intelligence in your leadership and be able to identify specific actions to eliminate relation“slips” and build lasting professional relationships.
