This session will discuss and review ten key strategies in which to engage that will lead to less litigation by skilled nursing consumers and their families. It will look at why patients and families sue and how to avoid such suits. Additionally, it will touch on updated “Phase 3” RoP guidance coming into effect in October, 2022 and how this may impact certain strategies for mitigating litigation risk, including a discussion of facility arbitration agreements.
