Ms. Curran, MSW, LICSW is a research therapist & clinical supervisor at the University of Washington with the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and School of Social Work. Ms. Curran’s clinical research is focused on improving access to behavioral health & evidence based practices to underserved populations, particularly in the area of perinatal mental health and neuro rehabilitation. Ms. Curran brings expertise in treating depression & chronic pain in neuro rehab populations where she works on numerous research projects helping patients with Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis and other disabilities learn strategies to better manage chronic pain. In addition, Ms. Curran also brings experience as a clinician, trainer, & supervisor on incorporating a culturally relevant engagement session to address barriers to help seeking & utilizing Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), in the treatment of depression during the perinatal period.
