Shawn Wilkinson PhD is an Associate professor in the Department of Applied Human Sciences at Concordia University. He teaches both leisure and therapeutic recreation courses offered by the department. He plays a pivotal role in helping to prepare pre-service leisure professionals for their careers in therapeutic recreation and community leisure. His current research focuses on the development of leisure education programs for persons living in the community.
