I am Associate Professor in the Department of Population Health, Division of Biostatistics at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. My expertise is focused on the design and implementation of clinical and health services research, including both randomized and observational designs, with expertise in pragmatic and adaptive designs. Currently, I am principal investigator (MPI) of the CARE4TBI study, a pragmatic, stakeholder-driven observational study which aims to standardize electronic medical record (EMR) documentation of rehabilitation therapy and to compare the effectiveness of well-defined rehabilitation approaches to improve community participation and functional independence of patients with TBI,. She is also MPI of a community focused randomized trial for aimed at improving non-emergency medical transportation in pregnancy, as well as co-investigator on multiple clinical trials and complex observational studies.
