Katie graduated from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2021 with her doctorate in occupational therapy. She worked with the Neurorehabilitation team at Spaulding as a student extern from 2019-2021 working on numerous TBIMS projects. She completed her advanced doctoral experience in partnership with the lab and researched the current Coma Recovery Scale - Revised criterion used to diagnose patients with disordered consciousness as emerged from the minimally conscious state. In 2022, she completed a one-year fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Neurorehabilitation. In Fall 2022, she will be returning to MGH IHP to begin her PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences with continued mentorship from the Neurorehabilitation Lab at Spaulding.
