Neuropsychologist
Blythedale Children's Hospital
valhalla, New York, United States
I am a pediatric neuropsychologist involved in clinical care and research with a focus on assessment and treatment of cognitive dysfunction after acquired brain injury. My training and experience in working with all ages of children with brain injuries from a variety of etiologies and severities have prepared me to participate in this proposed project with patients at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. My clinical roles involve working with children with acquired brain injury through much of the rehabilitation continuum – from admission to inpatient rehabilitation, through post-acute day program or outpatient care, to long-term follow up. I have designed and implemented assessment protocols for tracking cognitive outcomes for data driven clinical decision-making as well as to work toward answering research questions. I train and oversee the administration of these assessments to ensure quality data collection. Part of my role at Blythedale has involved participation in research that has involved collaborating to design research studies, identifying and recruiting patients, overseeing research protocols and personnel, as well as analyzing, publishing and presenting data. Additionally, I have established collaborations with other pediatric rehabilitation sites to share date for retrospective research as well as begin establishing a prospective research plan.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
