Acupuncture is an ancient method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and restore function, with evidence-based applications for wellness and modern rehabilitation. Acupuncture has been shown to regulate pain pathways, improve sleep, reduce stress, and improve function and quality of life. In this hands-on, experiential session, Dr. Bridget Chin will guide participants through a powerful self-acupressure practice for personal well-being and stress reduction. Dr. Chin (she/her/hers) is an expert physician acupuncturist and has been practicing integrative medicine since 2005. She is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School/Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan College of Human Medicine.
