Sjögren's syndrome is typically associated with a lymphocytic and plasmacytic infiltrate in the salivary, parotid, and lacrimal glands, leading to a sicca syndrome, which is commonly encountered in the rheumatology practice. This immune process often affects non-exocrine organs, including the lung and kidneys. The complication of lymphoma is common in Sjögren's and under-recognized.
In this session, we will discuss recognition, prevention, and management of oral complications, ILD, renal disease, and lymphoma.
