We will attempt to provide physiatrists with practical knowledge in spasticity management. Our overall focus will be on interventions in spasticity management. The goal of the mini-lectures is to explore the more detailed aspects of therapeutic botulinum toxin injections for spasticity management. Starting from initial evaluation and selection of injection site, dosing, etc., and proceeding with further follow up. Follow up discussion to focus on switching between different toxins, and when/how to use adjuvants, such as chemodenervation. Finally, We will explore when to make the decision to refer for surgical interventions in patients that fail toxin/oral medications, along with an overview on different surgical interventions
