This session will provide education related to personal finance, retirement accounts, investment vehicles, risk tolerance self identification and management, and life/disability insurance products focused at individuals currently in medical and PM&R training as well as early-to-mid career physiatrists. Specific areas of focus will be related to student loan management, pros and cons of various retirement/investment accounts, and pros and cons of various investment vehicles (stocks, exchange traded funds (ETFs), mutual funds, bonds). Additionally, various behavioral finance theories and risk management tools will be presented to allow attendees to self identify strategies that may be best suited for their financial goals.
