The main goal of this session is to identify and discuss the main journals published during the last year. The format of this presentation will allow presenters to determine current clinical practices and determine if there are deficits emerging in care of patients. Current research from major rehabilitation and pediatric journals will be highlighted in a case-based setting. By attending this presentation, we expect the audience to fill knowledge gaps or deficits from important journals from the last year.

Learning Objectives:

Summarize and discuss the design, methodology, findings, and clinical implications of the most influential papers in pediatric rehabilitation medicine over the past year.
Apply newly learned knowledge to clinical practice.
Discuss case-based vignettes to highlight the changing advances in pediatric rehabilitation medicine with audience response to determine standards of care.
Discuss future clinical and research directions in the field.
