PGY-4 Chief Resident Physician

Yunna Sinskey is a PGY-4 PM&R resident at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and obtained her medical degree at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. Sinskey was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer during her PGY-3 year of residency and was on medical leave for 11 months due to life-threatening complications from her treatment. She was able to successfully return to residency and now serves as the chief resident at her hospital thanks to the immense support of her colleagues and residency program. Although she continues to battle with the side effects from her cancer treatment, Dr. Sinskey is excited to have finally made it to her 2-year remission mark and dreams of graduating residency in good health.
