Laura Hobart-Porter, DO is an associate professor of PM&R and Pediatrics, Vice-Chair of Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Medical Director of the Spinal Cord Disorders Program at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, AR.; she received her D.O. at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Hobart-Porter is board certified in PM&R and Pediatric PM&R, having trained at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences for residency and Cincinnati Children's Hospital for fellowship. She is the Co-Chair of MedCamps of Arkansas, a statewide organization that champions providing camp experiences to children with functionally limiting medical conditions. Her primary research interests are the application of clinical practice guidelines through implementation science, particularly in the management of children with spina bifida. She also enjoys working in transdisciplinary clinic models and clinical outreach programs.
