Dale Strasser MD, Professor, Depart of Rehab Med, Emory Univ Med Sch; Attending Physician, Emory Rehabilitation Hospital, Atlanta, GA; USA. Medical School (1980-1984), PM &R Residency (84-88), and Fellowships in Arthritis Rehab (88) and Geriatric Medicine (89-90) at Northwestern Univ in Chicago, Il; USA. His primary clinical research examines rehabilitation treatment effectiveness. He and his colleagues developed and tested a conceptual model, the Team Effectiveness Model or TEM, through a series of VA (U.S. ¬Veterans Administration) Merit Review sponsored studies over a 20+ years which included a cluster randomized clinical trial of team training. Recent work has focused on team process measures which can be used in quality improvement (QI) and the utility of Tacit Knowledge as used in organization theory and learning organizations to improve rehabilitation outcomes. He also researches and publishes in the area of rehabilitation and geriatric medicine. Dr. Strasser has an extensive publication record, has served on several editorial boards of peer review journals, and works closely with colleagues and national organizations in geriatric medicine.
