Jegy Tennison, M.D. is a board-certified physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Palliative, Rehabilitation, and Integrative Medicine department. Her research interests include safety with physical activities and exercise, patient-reported and functional outcome measures, transition and continuity of care, cross-disciplinary approach, peripheral edema management including lymphedema, palliative rehabilitation, and quality of life improvement. She has authored several original research articles as a first and co-author in peer-reviewed oncology, supportive care, and physiatry journals. These publications have been presented at several national and international conferences.
