Antonio T. Howard, MBBS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. at the University of Arksansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Dr. Howard earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of the West Indies - Cave Hill campus in 2006. He practiced in primary care and as a team physician in his home country Barbados for several years before moving to NYC to complete residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. He has also completed fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Howard performs US-guided interventions as a part of of his MSK medicine practice. He also teaches US skills to residents and medical students. He has been faculty at several US courses at the annual AAPMR meetings, including a course on US-guided procedures for spasticity management.
