Natasa Miljkovic, MD, PhD, is a physiatrist and is certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is the medical director of rehabilitation services in transitional care at several UPMC locations and is an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Novi Sad in Serbia and completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Novi Sad’s Institute of Surgery and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at UPMC. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Miljkovic’s clinical interests include fall and frailty prevention, stroke, brain injuries, spasticity, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and geriatric rehabilitation across the continuum of care, including post-acute clinical settings such as SNFs, TRUs, ALFs and Memory Units . She has multiple national and international publications and is a member of ABPMR and AAPMR.
