Jennifer Myatt is employed as a Psychotherapist for the Brain Injury Program at Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation. Jennifer is licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She completed her MA in Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Jennifer has over 10 years of counseling experience and specialized training in individual, group, and family counseling in areas related to grief and loss, trauma, and adjustment issues. She regularly provides trainings and in-services for clinical staff on special topics related to emotional adjustment, behavior management and strategies to best support patients as they move through their recovery journey. Jennifer has been hosted as a guest speaker for several community-based groups to build awareness about emotional adjustment following Brain Injury. She is passionate about helping patients and their families adjust to the many changes that occur during recovery from brain injury through psychoeducation and the development of coping strategies.
